The video below explains my story and how I started my Amazon Business selling products from charity shops.
Cheap and cringe worthy as it sounds, I started off by buying second hand products from charity shops as I couldn't afford anything else.

You simply find profitable products, pack them up and get them delivered to Amazon, and they take care of the selling and shipping to the customer and all customer support - so you never need to deal with customers at all. Amazon takes care of it all.
You can do this as a part time side hussle and work it along with your current job.
Its also great for getting family members involved in the business and teaches kids about real life business and the value of money.

How It Works & How You Get Paid.

My Very First Product

So my Amazon journey begins back in December 2015.
At that point I only knew you could could buy products on Amazon but I never knew that you could sell them on Amazon
I had just been made bankrupt after the collapse of two of my contracting businesses were closed a few years before due to the recession
At that point in time I had literally no money at all but I had got a credit card that was supposed to rebuild your credit (not convinced it was much good) and that had a £500 limit on it.
One of my first products that I bought from a local charity shop cost 50 pence which subsequently sold on Amazon for £19.
I spent many months going around charity shops because I didn't have money to be buying new stock from big name stores so that's where I sourced the most of my stock.
Up to that point my wife had no idea what I was doing nor did I tell her because for the last lot of years I had bought so many different money making hair brain schemes and I didn't want her to think I had wasted more money on something else especially when we had no money.
As I mentioned I bought this course from a guy in the US on three payments I paid the first payment on this credit rebuilding card and when it came to making the second payment I couldn't afford it as the card was maxxed out.
I contacted the guy and explained why and what happened and he was more than good enough to wait until I got my second payment in from Amazon after selling some of the products that I had sent in.
I remember well the first payout from Amazon was £16. It wasn't even enough to cover my monthly fees at £30 for the month.
After several more shopping trips to the local charity shop I had boxes of products stacked up at home and my wife walked in and asked was I doing a clear out. She thought I was clearing rubbish out from the house and taking it to the council dump but I was actually bringing product in from the local charity shops to sell on Amazon. It was at that point I had to explain myself I'm telling what I would do was doing.
Within four weeks of selling on Amazon I had my first £1000 month and within a further 3 months I had hit my first £5,000 pounds month.
I remember it well because we were on a wee holiday in Spain and I remember going out to the balcony tapping the orders botton on my Amazon Seller app on the showed total sales of £5,000.
I remember messaging the guy that sold me the course back in December to tell them the news and his words were "my friend you have just experienced true freedom" and he was exactly right.
I had sold more products in the week that I was in Spain then I had the previous 2-3 weeks before I even left for holidays. I still experience this today almost 10 years on the feeling of selling more products when I'm on holiday then when I'm actually at home.
When I returned from holiday with my enthusiasm at an all time high, I started finding other ways to source product online and started buying products from wholesalers.
My First £10,000 MONTH!
By July of that year I had my first £10,000 month and that kept growing until the end of the year until I had experienced my first £100,000 in sales all within the first year selling on my new Amazon business.
Selling on Amazon is not difficult but to make it work you need to start.
Sounds a bit daft but people love to scroll and look at success stories of others on social media and wish it were them, when in fact all they need to do is open an Amazon Seller account and make start.
I still use the scanning app even yet. I love to go shopping with my wife and while she's pottering about buying what ever it is she needs to buy I'll take off down a different aisle and scan products. Then after finding a few products i'll run out to get a shopping trolley to fill it with my new found profitable products. This highly embarrasses my wife especially when I get her to take one of my trolleys stacked higher than her with toys, games, beauty products and literally anything else I can find profitable in the shop.
A recent shopping trip to Home Bargains in Belfast resulted in me filling the back seat of our car with tea bags. I happened to walk past a display of tea bags reduced to £2.65 and casually scanned them on the way past. They were selling on Amazon for £9.99 .
I cleared all the 260 bags of tea bags and squeezed them into the back of our car and took them home.
I packed them all up and made about £3 profit on each one. I sent them all into Amazon and within the next couple of weeks they all sold resulting in just over £600 in profit. My wife didn't seem so embarrassed when I told her about the profit. She was already on Easyjet looking for her next holiday.
It's Highly Addictive...
Scanning products is great fun and great for getting the family involved. I took one of my kids to TK Maxx and thought that I just pop in for 10 minutes to get a few things and back out in time to move the van from the restricted parking area I thought was a good idea to park in. I came back to a bright yellow sticker on my window which was a £90 Fixed Penalty parking ticket. I could have sworn that I was only in there 15 minutes but it turns out I was there for two and a half hours.
After paying the parking ticket I didn't just have as much profit from that trip after all.
Smith's toys was a great source for finding bargains. When I started to go at first I kind of felt that like I was doing something underhand or illegal.
As I walked up and down the isles lifting products and scanning them to see if there was any profitable items, I remember well, this spotty teenage assistant with thick rimmed glasses watching me thinking I must be trying to steal something. He kept following me up and down the aisles and asked "is there anything I can help you with.?"
So I stopped scanning and turned around and said yes can you please get me the manager to which he turned red and skulked off to the back room and returned with the manager. I explained to him what I was doing and that I was looking for a product that I could resell on Amazon and especially looking for clearance items. He said absolutely no problem come to the office and I will give you a sheet of all our products that are going to be reduced in the next few days and you can take a look and see if there's anything there that you can buy.
I said signal is a bit rubbish here some of the deals aren't picking up so he gave me the Wi-Fi password to scan until my heart was content.
This started a great relationship with Smyths toys and he would ring me every couple of weeks to say that he had special offers going on and did I want to take a look.
I could spend easily three hours in Smith's toys scanning products until sometimes my wife would ring me and asked was I okay to which I replied yes I'm absolutely fine I'm on my third trolley load I'll be home shortly.

I sometimes read negative comments on some of the Amazon forums saying that retail arbitrage or scanning products is dead. Let me tell you it's alive and well it's such a lucrative business model that involves very little technical knowledge.
All You need Is to get an Amazon account set up download the app to your phone and link the two together and go out and scan products until you find ones that are profitable and that's it.
but you need to be persistent and keep sending products into Amazon. If Amazon haven't got the products they can't sell them.
This is the whole idea behind The Amazon Fast Track. Its created with the beginner in mind to show them how to go and find product set up their Amazon account ship the products to Amazon and sell them to millions of customers both in the UK and Europe.
Take a look at some of the screenshots of some of my previous students who have done exactly this.
This business is not only exciting and good fun but it's extremely addictive and even after doing this almost 10 years I still get a buzz from looking up my Amazon Seller app to see how many sales I have made each day.
One of the cheapest products I have I buy from an online supplier at 98p I sell hundreds of them every month for £11.99. Products like this or not hard to find and the more that you do it the easier products and profitable deals are to find.

Why Do I Do It?
That is the business I am in, right now, as I write this. I love this 'work' and I do not believe there is another business which has so many benefits.
Let me tell you just a few of the great advantages:
- No staff. Having staff is a first class pain in the ass. I had many of them in my old contracting business. You have to pay for their holidays, sickness, pregnancy leave and everything else. You have to keep them busy (and pay them) when business is slack and take on extra people when you are busy. It's a nightmare.
- Work your own hours. I used to hate having someone else tell me when to work. I am not a machine and I resent people trying to confine me to their timetable. With this business you work exactly when you want to - or not at all if you want time off. It's up to you entirely. There is no boss, no timetable, no clock-watching. There are a few hours work each day to do, and you do it when it suits you.
- Great mark-ups. Forget those pathetic 5% mark-ups you get in almost every other business under the sun. How does 20%, 30%, 40% sound? That's what I make on most products I sell. Put simply, where all other businesses buy for £8 and sell for £11, I buy for £5 and sell for £25+. That makes a BIG difference to your profits!
- No Communicating With Customers. I hate it, and so will you. Don't do it! All of your transactions are done automatically via Amazon and you never need to talk to or communicate with the customers.
- No premises. If you think staff are a pain, try renting premises! The cost is horrendous. Then there is insurance, maintenance, running costs, fire escapes, toilets for the disabled, health and safety regulations, heating...it just goes on, and on and on. I run my entire operation from a desktop and a laptop in a small garage). You don't need a lot of space, and theres no tedious commuting to work either. 20 seconds from my house to my garage.
- Work from anywhere in the world. My entire business is on my laptop computer. Wherever I am, that's where my business is.
- Start with almost nothing and build up. Any fool can make money - if they have a lot to start off with. I wasn't so fortunate, and I suspect you don't have a spare £50,000 to start a business. You can start off with very little cash and build up gradually - this is exactly what I did. I started with 10 pence (literally, my first product was 10 pence) and scaled to over £100,000 in my first year.
- No prior experience required. I started without any knowledge or experience of this industry. No matter what your age, race or sex you can do this. People are making millions out of this exact business model. Just think what you could do with a head start with what i'm about to share with you.
- Stay in your job until you make good money. You can start part time. You don't have to give up your present job (if you have one) and risk everything. Just start small, like I did. Believe me you will soon be wanting to dump that old job and devote your time to making some REAL money! Your Amazon business will soon give you a new income stream.
So What Kinds Of Products Can I Sell?
You can literally sell anything at all on Amazon - within reason of course.
The kinds of product we try and sell are what we call replenishable and the list is endless. Products like beauty products, confectionary, grocery products, gardening products, DIY Products etc etc.
The idea is that once you sell it, customers keep coming back for more.
Do I give you products to Sell?
No I don't. I show you how to look for and find profitable products that you can easily source and sell over and over again. Just beware of these gurus that will give you products to sell or give you a list that they say is only going to a small number of other sellers!!. Just take a look at what the price and the number of sellers does when people buy products from these so called niche buying lists. The numer of sellers jumps which dilutes your share of the sales and the selling price tanks to where practically noone can make any profit. Don't say I didn't warn you.

One of My Early Sourcing Trips - £600 Profit
This was the state of my office after one sourcing trip. Its like a toy shop exploded. All these products were sourced in Smyths Toys, The Range, Tescos and Toy r Us by scanning the barcodes with the Amazon Seller App scanner (using your mobile phone) and all showed a great profit. Some of them were at reduced prices or clearance offers. The rest were bought at normal retail price. After fees, this lot will make about £600 Profit.
